In the context of data protection laws, ClearSend generally acts as a Data Processor regarding the payload data that you (the Data Controller) transmit through our infrastructure.

To provide and maintain our enterprise infrastructure, we collect the following categories of information:

• Account & Billing Information: Name, corporate email, company name, API keys, and billing details required to manage your SaaS subscription and data package allocations.
• Platform Telemetry: Automatic collection of API usage metrics, IP addresses traversing our endpoints, request volume, error rates, and load balancing statistics to ensure platform stability.

As an infrastructure provider, our primary function is to route and deliver your outbound messaging payloads efficiently and reliably.

• Transient Processing: We temporarily process targeting URLs, form payloads, and metadata solely to execute successful submission sequences and bypass operations.
• No Proprietary Data Harvesting: We do NOT mine, sell, or utilize your proprietary messaging models, lead lists, or campaign telemetry for our own commercial benefit or database augmentation.
• Public Interfaces: ClearSend's systems are programmed to interact exclusively with publicly exposed web interfaces and endpoints on target domains.

Security is foundational to our infrastructure. We implement stringent technical and organizational measures to protect your sensitive operational data.

• Data in Transit: All API communication and site traffic is forcibly encrypted using TLS 1.3+.
• Data at Rest: Core databases, including billing and user authentication clusters, are encrypted using AES-256 standard encryption.
• Access Controls: Infrastructure management nodes operate under zero-trust principles. Only strictly vetted engineering personnel have access to core routing clusters.

In alignment with enterprise data minimization principles, we strictly limit retention of operational data:

• System States: Highly transient. Destroyed immediately after a request cycle concludes (success or failure).
• Payload Telemetry: Retained only as long as necessary to provide your dashboard metrics and accurately track your data package usage.
• Account Data: Retained for the active lifecycle of your subscription, or as required by financial compliance laws following account termination.
